Our aim is to eliminate barriers for students and their families by bringing therapy to them. What does this mean? By providing our services inside the school we help our students succeed in various aspects of their lives without compromising their academic careers.
By 2021, more than 200 students from SISD have benefited by receiving therapy through Project Vida’s Mental Health Program. The services provided include professional therapy and the implementation of an educational program covering relevant topics such as life planning and wellness, depression, suicide prevention, anxiety, bullying, healthy relationships, and more.
Project Vida’s partnership with SISD began in 2017. Since then, we have been working together to implement the school-based mental health program in 13 campuses: Eastlake High School, Desert Wind School, Ensor Middle School, Mission Ridge Elementary, Socorro High School, Socorro Middle School, Ernesto Serna School, Pebble Hills High School, Puentes Middle School, Sun Ridge Middle School, Montwood High School, Montwood Middle School, and Slider Middle School.
