Intro to CHW Supervision

MHP Salud has been employing, training, and assisting organizations in supervising Community Health Workers (CHWs) for over 35 years. Our CHW Supervisor L.E.A.D. (Listen, Empower, Advance, Deliver) Curriculum training sessions focus on providing clear and concise information for first—and second-line CHW Supervisors. In this presentation, we will provide an overview of CHW supervision and explain why CHWs are an excellent choice for your organization and how to integrate them within your teams.

Return on Investment (ROI) and the CHW Profession

The positive impact that Community Health Worker (CHW)- led programs have on health often has significant economic effects for individuals, healthcare organizations, and society. These economic benefits are best measured through a return on investment (ROI) analysis. In this presentation, we will share how an ROI analysis demonstrates the money saved for every $1 invested in CHW-led programs. MHP Salud has worked with national health centers to develop a process for determining the CHW program's ROI. Resources will be shared at the end of the presentation.
